I decided to give Black Dragon another go… and honestly, sigh… I decided to come back to Firestorm. Reason? Everything is hidden on Black Dragon. Things are harder to find, and idk… since my last review, things look more complicated, so I installed it yesterday, took a look around… took a couple photos, and if you are on my social media, you saw them… and then, idk. I was still very uncomfortable using it.
My friend Luna suggested that I join the discord but, after my last review and the backlash… idk, I just do not want to be in a “room” full of people that are strongly “for” Black Dragon and accidentally say something I (or they) don’t like… it didn’t work out for me so well the last time…
I have to be honest… so far, only the Firestorm Team seems to be able to handle criticism, suggestion and customer service well. Pertaining to third party viewers, and my many years of using Second Life.
I had similar issues with Firestorm, once upon a time, that I have with Black Dragon, and when I brought it up to the customer service folks, they literally TP’d me to a Support sim and baby stepped me through my issues with the viewer and how to fix them. Also how to set it up to how I needed it to work for ME… So, yeah… thanks for that, in case I forgot to mention it before.
I think, for now, I will stick with Firestorm, and on the extremely rare occasion, the main Second Life (Linden Lab) viewer. At least then I do not need to feel afraid or intimidated that my concerns are going to meet with aggression. Or anger. I am not saying they were like that with everyone…maybe I just bring something out in folks. I know I can be a bit hyper but, then… if I had the exact same (or close too) issues with Firestorm… you would think they would have been angry too, right? They weren’t though. They are professional and courteous. *Shrugs* I don’t know.
To the Firestorm Team… Thanks for all your hard work. KUDOS!
To anyone that uses the Black Dragon viewer… KUDOS TO YOU! lol. I could not get it to work correctly for me… Both on my other machine, as well as this new one. Same issues, both times except now, everything that was once viewable, are not. lol.

Please understand this is my personal experiences. This doesn’t happen with everyone, and some of my friends and readers have had pleasant experiences with the BD team. And actually, I had one friend try to help me but, it was too complicated for me. Again, that was MY experience.
If you have the patience, and a strong enough processor, by all means, I have recommend this viewer in the past, and I still will, for photography, now. Just personally, I will stick with what is comfortable.
