New update on the pc front.
Well, we have fixed the resolution issues, for my eyesight… it’s not perfect but, until I can get a proper monitor, this will work.
Next, the machine I have was basically bought to get me back online, and on a desktop so that I can use my special pc chair, and not be uncomfortable while I am on. So, there are obvious upgrades that will have to be made.
Ram: I need to get a 16gb stick of ram. On inspection, I am using more than half my ram just doing simple tasks, so more ram will make things easier, especially when I start using my editing programs.
The reason I want one stick, instead of two, is because my friend told me that it would be easier for my pc to use one instead of two, however, of course, two would work just fine… if that is all I can pick up.
SSD: Everyone could use one of these, so, I don’t think I need to explain this but, as soon as I can, I will pick up one of these, so that I can just move my OS over to it.
Graphics Card: I have an Nvidia Geforce GTX 730 that I could potentially add to this machine however everyone has told me not to bother. It isn’t much of an upgrade to the graphics, so why bother. When I can, I will buy either a new one or find a good price on a used one. Any suggestions?
And, for my peace of mind, a Monitor. I am currently using a 32-inch smart tv for a monitor, so, it’s causing all forms of vision issues for myself.
And yes, my machine is upgradable. So, no worries there.
Jim came by today and made a few tweaks. Increasing this or that, and helping with the resolution… Somethings are still annoying me but, as long as I can be online, I am happy. And be able to type without leaning all the way over my daughter’s laptop.
Hopefully, I will be able to find a happy medium and produce proper photos for my blog… we shall see.
