It may be too soon to say it but, it looks as if Facebook is back! Well, it never “went” anywhere but, I was able to share my last post, without any issues… So one would think that “they” are getting their acts together, and listening to the masses.
However… have any of you noticed, there are a ton of websites, including Second Life, that have been having issues lately?
Second Life announced that they were having a -wide- scale DDOS attack since Monday…
It makes me wonder if now even Facebook seems to be having issues, and I know of at least 5 other sites that have made similar complaints over the past week, what would you all do if suddenly, there was no, world wide web?
What if we had to suddenly go back in time but, in the present, and actually communicate via telephone, snail mail or, actually getting off our butts and visiting people?
Sometimes, I think that the internet was the best invention… especially for folks like myself whom are home bound, and unable to be as mobile as others but, sometimes… more often than not lately, I wish it had never come to be.
Unfortunately, that likely would never be our reality… and if it were, it would not last long.
There will always be a smart cookie that will figure out what the huge issue is, and fix it. So worry not, little cherubs! The fix is out there, and it is coming!
