My dearest energy, please don’t fail me now.
I feel like I need to take a break for the day. I thought I was able to handle things now. That my obligations in SL were finally becoming manageable, to the point that I felt safe about adding a couple more and then, one of the places I do vlogging for, decided to send out a generalized note card to the people in their group, even though not everyone in the group has the same obligations, and just added more pressure to my mind.
I have to admit, it is very confusing when people do that. Say something to the masses, forgetting that not everyone is in the same boat, and so, the people that do not fall under a certain category, tend to become confused and lost, and wondering… what next?
It’s enough to make me start taking up drinking. Just to calm my nerves… but, trust me when I say, you would not want to see me drunk blogging. Actually, you may already have at some point in the past 7 yrs… but, that is beside the point.
I did contact one of the owners, and asked what was happening but, I have yet to hear back. Hopefully, there is nothing to worry about.
Well, I am going to just sit back, relax… or try too, and wait to hear what is going on.
For the people in the other category in the group, I understand the rule explosion.
They want more coverage for their event, and that is understandable.
I do however think that maybe they should be a tad bit more stretched out.
I looked at it as if I were a “traditional” blogger for the event, and a part of it was confusing… but, since that is not my place in the group, I am not going to ask about it.
Note: It’s been a couple days since I started to write this post. RL stepped in and made it a tad difficult for me to sit up for longer than a few moments at a time, however, I have been contacted by the person, and found out that my position is fine.
What I have been doing is correct, which is great. I still have not logged on, so I do not know fully what is happening but, I am happy that my job has been correct.
Once the air around this post is cleared up, I will try to make an effort to help the coordinators along in their quest to have more media coverage of their event. And no, I know many of you are wondering which event I am referring too but, I am not going to state it.
It’s an awesome event but, you all will just have to check back here from time to time to see what one I mention more often. And if you are a long time reader, likely you will pick it up right away. hehe.
Extra Note: Now that I have logged on, I have also heard from the owner of another event that had a similar note sent out. And with them as well, everything is fine, at least for my position.
I understand why event owners are changing their rules. Bloggers need to spread out posts during the duration of the event, in order to bring more people to the event. To give the designers more reason to stay at the event, and to give the coordinators a reason to keep the event open.
As bloggers and media, it is our job to help make all that happen.
So, I ask that if you are a member of an event blogging group, try to spread out your posts. Try to add more items to your posts.
If you are only going to do one item per event, don’t bother applying to be a part of the event.

I am truly hoping that people are not offended by my “opinionated” posts… It’s just my opinion, and I am very devoted to the people that support my blog, and myself.
I just think that it is important that a blogger not feel intimidating to share their opinions. Their thoughts. Or their fears.
