Yesterday was a day full of miscommunications.
To the point, I literally wanted to throw my hands in the air and say F it… instead, I went for, MEH.
The perfect word instead of saying things like F it, or go F it, or well, I am sure you can come up with an F it that would fit any situation.
Another piece of advice I need to give to bloggers would have to be a quote from one of my most favorite country singers, Kenny Rogers!
The KING of traditional old-school country music in my mind… Back when country music was more soul, less gyrating.
“You got to know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em,
Know when to walk away and know when to run.”
Blogging with sponsors is very much a gamble.
They are gambling on YOU to show their items, and you are taking a gamble on THEM when you are applying to work for them.
Sometimes on both ends, it works out, and sometimes… well, it just doesn’t.
If negotiations start to get too stressful for you, the blogger, get out. RUN! Don’t look back because if the store owner can’t see what a great asset you would be to their team, it’s not worth fighting for.
There is someone better suited to you, and they see your value.
