Winter’s coming to, Star Cross

So, this is a small teaser photo for winter at Star Cross.

This set is from, Chez Moi. It is one of my favorites! So I had to use it this year. I did modify it by, turning the “glow” effect on the lights down to 10 instead of 15… I found that it was a little too bright, especially in different windlights.
Also, I removed the glow effect completely off the trees. I am not sure why but, the glow never agrees with my system, so I do not get the full benefit.

If you purchase this scene, and wish to achieve the same set up as I did, all you need to do is right click on the item that you wish to change. Check “edit linked parts”, then click on the part that you wish to edit. For the glow effect, you need to click the texture tab, and just set it to whatever amount you wish. You can use the arrows or you can enter the number value yourself.

So far for this winter theme set up, I am using Studio Skye, Trompe Loeil & Chez Moi but, there is going to be so much more… make sure you tune in for further posts!!

It is a very spacious, single room house. You can use it with or without a patio, and there is also a snow addon that you can purchase.

I am going to quote what I said to my friend, Jaden Dartmouth about why I chose to use the version without the patio.

“with a patio, it makes me think of someone living in the city, that wants a taste of the woods, without being IN the woods.”

And since I am trying to embrace the full fairytale woodsie look… I needed to immerse myself completely.

OK! So, I am going to share the info in this post now, even though it’s not a “traditional” post. I do hope that you will all keep checking back here to see what else I can come up with.

There will be posts on the entire sim outcome, as well as about the house, and furnishings…. I am going to have some fun this year!
