Blogotex Review

I decided to do a video review of the newest service for designers, and bloggers alike..

BLOGOTEX

Now, I have been seeing mixed reviews about this so, I thought I would share more publicly my thoughts (we have been talking about it on fb).. since, I am a blogger.. and I have been on both sides of this field… so, I can share my opinions on both… However, I am not subscribed as a designer, only as a blogger but, trust me, watch the video, as I walk you through what I have found, and my thoughts.

~~ THE FOLLOWING IS FROM BEGINNING TO END, MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE BLOGOTEX SUPPORT.

THERE IS A CHANCE THAT THE ERROR ENCOUNTERED MAY HAVE BEEN BROWSER BASED, (a fluke) SO PLEASE JUST REFER TO THE FOLLOWING AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE AND NOT AS SOMETHING TO HOLD AGAINST USING THIS SERVICE. ~~

UPDATED NOTE #1

Upon submitting my posts, I have found a very big issue!!

Since I blogged both Truth & Glamistry in the same post, I reported the same link, in each of the profiles however, it refused my link.
It said that duplicate posts were not allowed… Being that they are two different stores, there should not have been an error..

So this is something that Blogotex people should fix, ASAP.

I do not know any blogger that will be happy about having to limit only ONE blogotex item per post.. Good luck

UPDATE  NOTE #2

As of 5am est, I have been chatting with the Blogotex folks, and they have been working on the error.

I am sure they will fix it, and just in case I was wrong, and it was some how my browser that messed up,  I will post these two brands again, hopefully sometime on Tuesday, so I can test it again.

Either way, they have been really awesome at talking the issue through, and hoping on it to fix it if it was an issue with the server.

So designers of Second Life! If you want a good service, with people that are quick to correct errors, this is the service for you!

UPDATE NOTE #3

It’s been a few hours, and the Blogotex Admin, took time to investigate.

I am still not sure if it was a random browser error,
or if it was the linking but, by now, I am leaning more towards a browser error.
So with that in mind, people with Chrome, should take extra care with the links.

I would like to thank the person I was speaking to during this process.

They handled it with dignity which, I am sure you have all had bad experiences with customer service, was a nice change.
They did not make me feel stupid, and they took time out of their schedule to check the error, and were not snide, or rude in any way.

I strongly recommend this product for anyone looking to upgrade to a more stabilized blogging system..
