Heavenly Hosts.. Best Xmas Song ever!

As you now know, I did my friend store review of 2017….
And it didn’t go as well as I thought it would.
I did my best.. giving criticism but, at the same time, backing it up with solid advice, suggestions on how to capitalize on their space, offered to help them in any way I could.. and given that I do have a lot of experience in running fairly successful businesses over the course of, 14 years of Second Life experiences.. yes, 14! As my original avie was from 2003!!!
Sure, they were not as big as places like Maitreya, Drift, Sysy’s or LVS but, I had people that backed me up with solid advice.. Especially Sysy Champman & Ravenlynn Templar.. Two big names, that helped me along my way in many different ways..
Including, taking a look at my stores in the past, and making suggestions on how things would do better a certain way.
Sysy even helped with texturing, and Ravenlynn stood by me when I was ready to give up on my interests.. They both pushed me to do better.
And that included pointing out where I went wrong with things.. and that is all I tried to do for this creator..
Although it was not taken in the best of light.

I will not go into a huge write up of what exactly happened.. I did record a conversation for my blog post between myself and one of my close friends, Matt… and yes, he knew he was being taped, lol. *waves to matt*..
We talked about my feelings about what had happened.. and to be perfectly honest, I was not going to say anything more about it..
I got to the point where I had to mute the person, and that was for my own sanity.. I tried to explain why I did the review.. but, she was not ready to listen, and that is fine.. it was my opinion, and well, everyone is entitled to their opinion, and to share that opinion. and that is what I did.

I feel bad in the way things went down but, I will not apologize for trying to help.
I gave positive reinforcement, with my criticism..
I offered suggestions, and even did a mini tutorial..
I did my best, with my personal experiences.
And, like Sysy & Raven, as well as many others in my SL experience… I wanted to help her succeed.. she deserved that, and I thought because of the amount of subscribers I do have, that may be some of you would go and help her out, to make her “Grand Opening” a success…

The reason that I finally decided to post this was because, instead of letting things die down.. I got messaged by more people about this issue and to me that is harassment.
To the best of my knowledge, my friends respected my wishes of not IMing her over this… not to boycott her store, and did not send others to harass her.. however, I did not get the same respect back.

I still want people to check out her store..
Just because her and I do not see eye to eye.. and we will never …ever.. get past this, doesn’t mean that she needs any ill treatment.
I hope that she has nothing but success, and I really, seriously hope that once she calms down, and listens to the review again, that she will at least try to implement some of my advice… if not, well.. whatever..
