Yesterday, I was awoken by my daughters dad..
He looked shell shocked.
Right away, my heart stopped.
I knew something major was coming and,
me being me, my brain went threw all the possibilities…
What I did not expect was for him to tell me that one of his best friends..
A man that always tried to encourage me to feel comfortable around his family..
had died.
Alex was a very strong man.
Brave, crazy, funny, sweet… and sincere.
He had an accident that changed his life for ever…
but, he didn’t let it get him down.
He made strives to make his life and the lives of so many others stronger.
I do not know how to feel..
what to say..
I will say this…
When I close my eyes..
I am instantly brought back to a night of Kareoke,
partying, having fun..
Alex up on the stage, standing, singing ACDC..
All different songs.. and, the first time I heard his impression of,
Brian Johnson and how close he sounded… omg, lol…
you could tell it took alot out of him but, he was having fun and,
laughing.. and his wife’s face when I looked at him and said.. “WOW!”…
An amazing night…
And, it makes me smile… even if when I open my eyes and see that it was only a memory…
At least I got the chance to have these awesome memories.
With that being said.. Jeff has a trillion more..
so, if I am this upset… you can imagine the insane pain he is going through..
being that Alex was almost a brother to him..
