goes a long, long way…
And earns respect from, bloggers, shoppers, and other designers..
Word of mouth travels fast in not only SL but RL as well..
Something good or bad is said, or done to us and we turn around and share…
Alot of the time, this is a name and shame (or praise if that is the case), game..
Now I was not going to mention this but, since it ended up shocking me as well as others.. I decided to share SOME of it with you.
This afternoon I wrote this HUGE blog about the Boho Culture Fair..
I included many designers, and since I do not know all the LMs by heart, I tend to check properties of an item and use the designers picks to their stores..
Now, normally this is NOT an issue..
However, today… I suppose a designer reused a “brow” layer, for lack of a better word..
Not a huge deal, since most of them are full perm..
Well, in this case, the “creator” of the skin that I was blogging was not the same as the brow.. now, this is partly MY fault because, I should have double checked the creator but, whatever.. moving on.
So, I was sending out my note card to the designers to let them know that I had used items of theirs in my post..
I made the note as unique as I am and sent it to all the designers, as I had opened IM windows to make sure they each got the note.
So, a few mins later a designer sends me a rather.. vague, message, asking what I blogged of theirs…
This ended up being, what I took as RUDE message in the end..
They had a MAJOR reaction to my calling them “luv”… now this is the way I was raised.
It is a term of endearment, or respect..
There was nothing harsh in my “tone” towards the person..
And I am sorry if that is the way they took it but, I was not in anyway cruel to them.
I let the person know, it was MY mistake, that the item was NOT by them.. and I moved on, after complimenting them.
(I know their store, and I am a fan of their items)
I have shared what happened with others (NO NAMES), and some agree with me, and some feel that maybe the person felt, I was speaking down to them… but, I swear, that was NOT my intention..
Here we are hours later.. and.. I have heard back from most of the other designers by this point..
And all feedback was positive.. thank you all for that..
Now, this person stood out as well because, I was pretty on edge when he contacted me to thank me for the post..
Datrip Blackbart of Legal Insanity, spoke to me directly, and made a very nice compliment and even joked around with me about why I was on edge…
So, I decided to stop by his mainstore and share some photos with you!

As for the not so nice person that started all of this… well..
I will not give them THAT power over me… that person shall remain nameless..
I do not owe them anything.. and I will never name THAT… cat.
Just wanted to insert another person who once upon a time, complimented a blog post.. Truth Hawks.
Yes, yes, I know.. I say it often but, HE made me happy waaaay back in the day.. that first blog I had that FAILED.. lol.. but, he was sweet.. and we are friends now, all this time later…
