Day of the Dead is originally a Mexican holiday that just so happens to be one of my favorite times of the year.
Growing up in Toronto must have been the best thing for me because, I was exposed to so much culture!
Day of the dead in Toronto was very, festive…
Like the “All saints day”, death is celebrated and not mourned…
It is a day to send well wishes to those that we have lost…
And to celebrate their lives here!
I may not know all there is to know about this amazing day but, I have posted the link to WiKi in case you wish to find out for yourself!

Something that I personally love to do on Day of the Dead is, visit my family that has passed on…
I will go to their graves, and place daisies, or carnations.. as these are MY favorite flowers.
I want them to have a piece of my heart with them… where ever they have turned up on the other side, as we all have different religious opinions that doesn’t make them any less my family.
Before I forget.. the dress that I am wearing in these photos is from, Emo-tions…
It is a new release called, “Crossing” and I thought this was a great dress to wear for a graveyard share!
And, also all the eyes shown above are from my new favorite eye store, Ikon..
